First of the month

Okay guys, I'm back. I've got a fully furnished apartment with functioning internet service. I'm sorry it's taken me so long to update, but with work, the move, the film festival and my new friends... I've found it difficult to find the time to sit still and write a few paragraphs. But that's all gonna change! It's a new month (I can't believe it's already November)and Sarah's here! We'll be getting into all kinds of trouble in the next couple of weeks which I'll be sure to inform you of. So get ready, because it's gonna be a crazy month. Pictures and anecdotes of our shenanigans to follow!

Sophia I miss you. Today is a beautiful fall day in Montreal, all the leaves are yellow and the smell of crushed leaves fills the air. Perfect day for a coffee and a stroll. Hope you and Sarah are having fun.

I miss you too!!! I wish I could round all of you guys up, throw you on a plane and just experience this whole thing together. I'm really having a great time and I'm so happy that Sarah's here. We'll have our own coffee and stroll here in your honor. Except, people don't really do that here. The process of drinking a coffee in France is synonymous with act of sitting down. Just one of those things...

Today I walked through Parc Lafontaine while sipping an allongee with a littlebit of hot milk and a dab of foam. that's how I like it. it is indian summer here, my favorite season. It is very lucky to even get Indian summer, some years it does'nt happen and it's snowing before the leaves are even picked up. I'm at the national library reading your blog instead of studying the anthropology of development and globalization. Was nice to hear your voice the other day. Miss you girls.
